The transfer window is open and all of Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United are getting down to business. The Gunners are poised to complete the signing of Chelsea striker Kai Havertz immediately after agreeing a £65m deal. with the Blues, where the German international is now set for a medical examination in the coming days. A fresh bid for Declan Rice is also on the way, although Manchester City are now set to join the race.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are reportedly set to make an £80m bid for the Brighton midfielder as they close in on a move for Villarreal striker Nicolas Jackson. However, Mason Mount could be set for a move to United as they prepare a third bid and Chelsea continue their squad purge.
Over at Tottenham, Ange Postecoglou looks to make his first signing after the club reportedly agreed a fee of around £17.2m for Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, with James Maddison also of interest. Man United, meanwhile, want Harry Kane to hand in a transfer request at Tottenham. Klopp isn’t going anywhere
Jurgen Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has rejected talk of the Liverpool coach taking the German job.
Hansi Flick, current boss of the national team, is under pressure and Klopp has been raised as a possible replacement, but his agent has closed it down.
“Jurgen has a long-term contract with Liverpool and the DFB has a coach,” Kosicke told BILD.
“This is not an issue for us at all.”
Man United close to the Mount
Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Mason Mount.
The Mirror reports that United and Chelsea have reached a middle ground in negotiations, with a £60m fee close to being agreed.
With Mount keen on a move to Old Trafford, this one is looking increasingly likely to get over the line.
Zakaria back in the Premier League?
West Ham could turn to Denis Zakaria as a possible replacement for Declan Rice.
The Hammers captain looks certain to leave this summer, with Arsenal and Man City leading the race, and the focus is now on using the money to help deal with his departure.

Manchester City are ready to offer West Ham £100m for Declan Rice.
The Mirror reports that City will swoop in and look to hijack Arsenal’s bid to sign the midfielder, with the Gunners already having two bids rejected.
Personal terms will not be an issue for City, leaving them in a strong position if West Ham decide to accept the offer.
Man United want Kane to push for a move
Manchester United are urging Harry Kane to hand in a transfer request.
That’s according to The Sun, where it’s claimed the Tottenham striker is desperate for a move to Old Trafford but knows Daniel Levy is likely to stand in his way.
United want Kane to be more forceful in pushing Spurs to sell him, in the hope that the £100m asking price will be dropped.
Juventus are interested in Partyy
Juventus are among the clubs considering a move for Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.
The Gunners are open to selling the 30-year-old this summer, with Declan Rice and Romeo Lavia both midfield targets as the club prepare for a return to the Champions League.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Saudi Arabian clubs are willing to pay €40m for Partey, while Juventus have now also inquired about him.
Madueke is confident of an improvement at Chelsea
Noni Madueke insists he will make a big impact at Chelsea after enduring a frustrating six months since joining from PSV Eindhoven for £30.5m in January.
There was real excitement around the signing of Madueke, but apart from a couple of impressive cameos late in the season, he was one of the players lost in the chaos at Chelsea and there has been talk of a loan move away .
However, Madueke is ready to play a leading role for new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
“A lot of changes are out of the players’ hands, but you roll with the punches,” Madueke said.
“I guess when the club wants to do something a little bit special, there are definitely changes. We’re trying to create a team that can compete for the next 10 years.
“I definitely performed well, showed my ability, but next season you will see the real me. Next season I will contribute massively to Chelsea winning. That is it. We are all buzzing to get back into pre-season with the new manager, forget last year and get Chelsea back to where they should be; fighting for titles.”

The race to sign Declan Rice is certainly heating up.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Rice would be interested in a move to Manchester City, despite Arsenal being in pole position to sign the midfielder.
It is claimed that with Rice open to any move, it will come down to who can agree a fee with West Ham first.
Milan fight for Lukaku
AC Milan are considering a shock move for Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian spent the season on loan at Inter Milan and is keen to stay at the club, but Chelsea want a permanent sale rather than agreeing to loan the striker out again.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan could pounce on their rivals’ hesitation and make a €40m bid for Lukaku.
