Signings are landing at a serious pace in the transfer window, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United all looking set to pony up some serious money. The Gunners are on the verge of signing Declan Rice for £105m plus the £40m deal to land Jurrien Timber, after announcing the arrival of Kai Havertz.
Chelsea and Manchester United have agreed a £60million deal for Mason Mount, who is due to undergo a medical on Monday. The Blues will then want Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga, after completing the signing of Nicolas Jackson, and a new £51m bid for Dusan Vlahovic has also been rumoured. Liverpool confirm the deal with Dominik Szoboszlai
It’s a done deal at Anfield!
Liverpool have now officially announced the £60m purchase of Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig.
The Hungarian forward has signed a long-term deal on Merseyside after his Bundesliga release clause was triggered last week, taking the No.8 shirt recently vacated by the exit of Naby Keita.
Szoboszlai follows World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister as Jurgen Klopp’s second signing in an important summer.
Tottenham complete permanent Pedro Porro deal
Tottenham have technically already completed their fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
Spurs are looking to quickly kick-start the new Ange Postecoglou era, welcoming both James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario to north London this week.
Tottenham also finally converted Dejan Kulusevski’s long loan from Juventus to a full-time deal last month and have now done the same with Pedro Porro, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Spurs had a mandatory commitment to sign the Spanish right-back permanently for £39m when they initially loaned him from Sporting Lisbon until the end of the season back in January.
It is now officially over, according to Romano.

Nicolas Jackson has revealed part of his motivation for signing for Chelsea.
The young striker had a conversation with Senegal team-mate Sadio Mane about his move, having watched the likes of Didier Drogba and Demba Ba at Stamford Bridge as a child.
“I spoke to Sadio Mane about him and he spoke very highly of him [Mauricio Pochettino]He said great things about him,” Jackson told the club’s website.
“Sadio told me that the manager will help me a lot to improve and do well if I listen to what he has to tell me, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”
Kai Havertz deal won’t deter Emile Smith Rowe
Emile Smith Rowe has vowed to stay at Arsenal and fight for his place following the arrival of Kai Havertz.
He told The Sun: “I see what’s happening and obviously it’s good for the club to add strength to the squad. I feel like the additions we’re making will really help the team get going again.
“It’s really exciting, so hopefully we can go one step further next season.
“Of course [it is extra competition], but this is football. You just have to get on with it. I have to keep working hard and it’s healthy competition. I have to keep fighting.”
Inter comment on Romelu Lukaku wait
Inter boss Beppe Marotta has admitted his uncertainty over whether the Italian club can complete another deal for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
“Let’s not forget that the move was made by the previous owners of Chelsea,” he said.
“So the new owners must consider whether Lukaku is part of their project and plans for the future. If he isn’t, their strategy will change.
“Obviously they can’t come up with putting him on the market for a big fee. I think the offer from Saudi Arabia was around £43m, which is still a long way from the fee we got from Chelsea, which was £99m.
Burnley want Arsenal out
Albert Lokonga is set to leave Arsenal this summer with Burnley keen on a deal.
Vincent Kompany wants to sign the Belgian midfielder permanently, but the player is said by The Sun to be unsure about the move.
A loan deal could instead be agreed with the Gunners ready to cut ties with the £15m signing.
What Chelsea can expect from their new contract
Portuguese teenager Diego Moreira signed for Chelsea on a free transfer from Benfica yesterday and they can expect the 18-year-old to be a “defensive beast” from the wing.
Luis Castro, who coached Benfica B last season, told Mais Futebol in April: “He has improved a lot. He has this street football style, but it is more and more productive.
“He manages to combine being entertaining because he brings spectacle to the game with better stats. And he has a very special characteristic that is not normal for a player of his talents, which is the defensive component.
“He’s a defensive beast and I don’t see many wingers at world level with Diego Moreira’s defensive commitment.”
The Blues have also signed Alex Matos from Norwich.
