Chelsea and Manchester United have finally agreed a £60million deal for Mason Mount, who is now due to undergo a medical. The Blues will waste no time in signing replacement midfielders and want Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga. United hope to follow up Mount’s arrival with a deal for Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Tottenham have already spent more than £80m this summer, most recently signing James Maddison, and are now looking to strengthen their defense with Edmond Tapsoba, Micky van de Ven and Gleison Bremer of interest. They are also reportedly working to sign a player whose name remains secret, while Harry Kane is set for talks over his future as Bayern prepare another bid. The BBC now reports that there is still no agreement on payment terms after two days of negotiations.
Standard Sport understands West Ham want the fee paid over two years, while the Gunners are pushing to pay it over four years.

Ziyech fails Al-Nassr medically
Oh oh. Chelsea could be back to square one in their bid to sell Hakim Ziyech.
According to Foot Mercato, Saudi side Al-Nassr are concerned about a knee problem which has been identified during the player’s medical and now the deal is in jeopardy.
Ziyech was expected to complete an £8million move to join Cristiano Ronaldo, but now the move could be scrapped.
PSG identified the same problem in January but carried out further tests to finalize the deal, which ended up not going through when the deadline expired.
Spurs working on secret signing
This is an interesting one.
According to reports, Tottenham are working to sign a player whose name currently remains secret.
Spurs have been linked with all sorts as they are every summer, but this target’s name, it is claimed, has still not been leaked or mentioned in the media.

Rice to Arsenal DELAYED
West Ham and Arsenal have still not agreed the payment structure for Declan Rice’s £105m move, delaying the entire deal.
That’s according to The Sun, which reports that the expectation is that a compromise has been reached, but 36 hours after an agreement in principle was reached, there are still issues to be ironed out.
Rice is currently on holiday so any medical will likely wait until next week, but both clubs are still working hard to get a deal done.
